Is the programme totally free?
The programme is free of charge to all participants.
What is the duration of the programme?
The programme will run until the 23rd of June.
Why should I register to this programme? What are the benefits for me or my idea?
Participants will benefit from great learning opportunities, through self service online training which will offer expert guidance on the process of presenting and submitting your idea. Webinars and workshops will also be held for you to enhance your learning further. The top 10 finalists will be mentored by the aerospace expert and top 3 winners will be incubated by Altran and Rockwell Collins or attend a boot camp in Qotuf.
Who will be delivering the webinar sessions?
A combination of experts, from the various organisations, will take part and will interact with the submission teams on the webinars, through chat and voice.
What are the requirements / criteria needed for my application to be considered?
To be considered, submissions must involve technologies, Innovations, solutions, and/or business models that address challenges within the aerospace and aviation industry, including, but not limited to applications in drones, air traffic management, robotics, big data, artificial intelligence, communications, electronics, energy, clean tech, etc.
Who can participate?
Participating individuals or team members must be Senior University students or above and currently residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a Saudi National leading the team. All submissions must be ideas or business models in the start-up phase or early stage businesses. Businesses over 2 years of age, and/or businesses who have generated over SAR 500,000 in revenue or investment are not eligible to participate.
I’ve never joined a webinar session before. How shall I start?
Joining a webinar session is very easy. You will be sent an email prior to every session with a detailed explanation about what to do. Simply follow the steps mentioned in the email and youâ€™ll be part of the conversation.
Any special features that I need to have on my computer to be able to join the webinar sessions ?
You only need to have an internet connection (256K or higher), a headset and a microphone.
What if I missed a webinar or workshop session?
All sessions are recorded, so if you miss a session, you will always be able to watch it at a later time by opening the link sent to you and accessing the related content section.
Do you provide certificates at the end of the programme?
Yes, we will provide you with a certificate of participation once you complete the 10 training modules.
I’m a Saudi national but not located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, can I join?
Yes. We welcome applications from Saudi Nationals from all around the world.
I’m not fluent in English; do you provide the programme material in any other language?
We provide programme materials in two languages: Arabic and English.
How can I know when the webinars and workshops are happening?
Check the timeline page on the Entaliq in KSA website. As long as you are registered with the programme, you will also receive reminders and updates for all programme activities.

How do I know that my application has been submitted?
You need to complete the 10 question (one question per module) in order to submit your application.
How are the top 10 selected?
A judging panel will review each application and select the top 10 teams.
How will the top 10 be announced?
The top 10 participants will be announced on the 10th of April, via emailers and on Entaliq in KSAâ€™s social media accounts.
What is Entaliq about?
The Entaliq In KSA challenge was launched in September 2016, in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Airbus, TAQNIA Aeronautics, and Saudi Arabian Airlines. It provides a platform to support the development of innovators and entrepreneurs across various science and aviation technology disciplines, highlighting their achievements across the globe. In mid-November, 2017, the second edition of the â€˜Entaliq Challengeâ€™ was launched.
Can I participate alone or should I have a team ?
Submissions may be entered by individuals or teams under a single entry. The team leader should be a Saudi national.
Do we need to attend all the webinars ?
It isn’t necessary, but we recommend that you attend the webinars.
When is the deadline for the challenge?
The deadline for the challenge is on the 14th of April 2018.
If I submitted my business model, can I go back and edit my answers ?
You can go back any time to any section in order to continue/edit your application.
How will the projects be evaluated?
We will take the below criteria into consideration when evaluating the submitting ideas.
The innovative aspects of the technology components (40%):
